I love Prima products. I got some new flowers made from ribbon this week. They're just beautiful and now I've seen the header on their blog here I just want to get more of their things!
This is my latest card. I scanned a paper napkin using photoshop and printed it out as a background. The watering can is an old creative cut out by Carolines. The other embellishments are by papermania.
Finding something different to craft with is quite tricky when you're a bit strapped for cash. I think I've come up with quite a good idea though with some toys from yesteryear. I found a 'Picture Plates' toy by Tomy in a charity shop. I had a fashion wheel as a kid and a similar plate type toy which I still have.
The little plates managed to go through my die cutting machine and so gave me an embossed design was after. Now I think I will try as many backgrounds as possible.
Here is the card I made for my mum for Mothers Day this year. I used an old (but still available)creative cut-out by Carolines for the main element and 'Bloom and Grow' range die cuts by My Minds Eye. Also a few old papermania stickers.
Ooooh la la....has been too long since I posted on my blog. I have a good reason though - that I am having a baby in November. It has been a difficult experience for me but as I don't know that many read this blog anyway it's been just one of those things put on the back burner! I do find solace in my crafting though so as am working on my xmas cards will want to share them on here.
There will be some new embellishments by Sassafras shown at the CHA trade show in America. I love their products. I think I first was aware of them through Scrapbook Inspirations magazine. I find them very inspiring.
I like this Rosette top....as is my new latest one and can be adapted in so many ways. The corners can be square or round, punched, embellshed etc. It has been primarily made for a Mother's Day card...not sure yet how will develop.
After graduating I turned my attention to crafting and have been hooked ever since. Am a stay-at-home mummy of one. I mostly do papercrafts but have been getting into knitting too. I love blog hopping and especially like seeing creative types spaces. The craft I do the most is Teabag folding but I like to learn and read about all new techniques.
