Cards made home and away

I had to finish making two birthday cards while I was away for five nights recently. Both for girls, one a young'un and the other erm not so young!

and this one is for my father-in-law

I'm not a huge fan of father's day. It's painful as so close to my late father's birthday too. I do miss the bond we had. He loved cherries at this time of year so I've got them in to munch.

W.O.Y.W.W. No.209

This is my roller desk shot for What's on your workdesk wednesday? My desk is a dumping ground as always, rarely sat at mostly hovered over. There is a recent acquisition on the top shelf of bookcase that sits on top of the desk. An M&S decorative tile I found in a local charity shop. I like it a lot as it mirrors my main inspiration for artyness, that is flowers.

More cards really?

A friend asked me to make some Easter cards for her earlier this year. It was a bit of a challenge for me to complete in the short period of time I had but I was pleased with the results. I didn't have to buy supplies I just used my stash and that was fun. My in-laws celebrated their wedding anniversary too which had a black and white theme, so it was carefully chosen imagery for that. I only had to buy a Kanban overlay just because it was such a perfect match from the dress on the day.
