What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 398

My work area is rather cluttered. I do not craft at a desk I sit on the sofa and balance things mostly precariously. I've been making boxes for a few days so they're piled up. My 'in-tray' has overflowed. I need another stacked on top as storage really. Dan dragon sits here because that's where I put my hairband so I know where it is 😏.

There's always little trays with bits and bobs in. I'm very much feeling the call of finding some new bits as I want to copy my friend Sy's canvas covered notebook with inky bits on. Share your space on Julia's blog here.

Well here we go again.

Well here we go again, finally back to see other's spaces on WOYWW. I've been wanting to return to my blog for a while but got consumed by other social media sites, as you do.
What's on my workdesk? Firstly this corner of the living room is where I have stuff and has just slowly become the workspace lol (my crafty stuff lives mainly in another room).
I've been crocheting granny squares for a new blanket. I have a bakelite box of buckles I like to design patterns with. Charity shop finds feature too.

W.O.Y.W.W. No.209

This is my roller desk shot for What's on your workdesk wednesday? My desk is a dumping ground as always, rarely sat at mostly hovered over. There is a recent acquisition on the top shelf of bookcase that sits on top of the desk. An M&S decorative tile I found in a local charity shop. I like it a lot as it mirrors my main inspiration for artyness, that is flowers.

Finding something different....

Finding something different to craft with is quite tricky when you're a bit strapped for cash. I think I've come up with quite a good idea though with some toys from yesteryear. I found a 'Picture Plates' toy by Tomy in a charity shop. I had a fashion wheel as a kid and a similar plate type toy which I still have.
The little plates managed to go through my die cutting machine and so gave me an embossed design was after. Now I think I will try as many backgrounds as possible.
